Founded in 2008 by Pat & Jennie, IX is the first, ground-breaking art show, symposium, and celebration dedicated solely to imaginative realism—bringing artists, students, collectors, and art fans together for an annual gathering intended to inspire and create further awareness and zeal for imaginative realism and all that’s encompassed in the realm of the fantastic. The Illuxcon is comprised into two seperate shows which take place side by side. The main show happnes during the day while the Showcase happens in the late evening.

The Main Show is a juried, traditional media exhibition, featuring over 90 artists showing their work across 18,000 square feet and three floors of the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. However during the final two days of the Illuxcon the Showcase will commence. These tables are purchased for the privlage to show original work to their peers and artist heros.
